    I heard on the radio that Joe Smith has only given up 14 runs this season.... 7 of them have been driven in by Cespedes... hope they keep that in mind when they head to Boston.

    Hamilton has been horrible, but he's not to blame... the contributions the team was getting from the bottom of the lineup has evaporated lately. The whoel offense is in a collective slump. It happens. They'll bounce back. Remember 2006? The Cards has TWO 8 game losing streaks and a 7 game losing streak... squeaked into the post-season and won it all. I'll be more concerned if this team slumps in the post season.

    The only thing worse than the Angels crappy play is the "broken record" that keeps playing in the background. Let me say the same thing for the 20th time because this time it will sound new.

    Let's be reasonable... history has shown us it's all about who's hot come post-season. As long as the Angels get there, anything can happen. We've seen it too many times. The 2006 Cardinals are the poster children for this. That year they had two eight game losing streaks and a seven game losing streak and ended the season at 83-78 and yet.... they became World Champions. Relax.

    I don't hate the Dodgers... it's hard to hate a team that's usually not relevant these days.

    I love this team's swagger. I've missed it for far too long and I'm glad they have it back. I love their aggressiveness and their confidence. I just love watching these guys get after it. There's an urgency to the way they play and it's fun to watch.
