    We all want the Angels to make a statement and just bury the A's over the weekend.... We love these kinds of games where so much is on the line, but the level of anxiety is a killer... Yup... we've got pennant fever.

    I love his "one-game-at-a-time" approach and his "turn-the-page" mantra. They don't make for great media, but that's not the goal anyway.

    I think it's all good... the drummers, the guy in Cleveland... the ToriiTown/MatsuiLand/Hamiltown group, etc., etc. I think it gives a stadium character and its own identity. I even like mascots - like the Phillie Phanatic, etc.

    You can actually sit in the dugout it's so empty. They'll even pay you to come to games and send a limo to pick you up. You'll also get a free steak dinner, a jersey and a Rickey Henderson bobblehead.

    Kay clarifies that the Angels will send a PTBNL or cash considerations to the White Sox in exchange for Beckham, not both, as he initially announced (Twitter link). so that means that we either send AO to Chicago or we take up a collection here on AW to keep him and send cash.

    All you need to read is that he'll be 32 when he hits free agency.... extending him is not necessary.

    I love the way this board jumps to conclusions... adding Beckham doesn't mean someone else is going... he could just be added depth. Or... maybe they're cutting Howie's leg off and transplanting it onto Garrett's body so that he can make his next start.
