    IP... I heard you and I agree... the bullpen was probably a little too rested and didn't get enough work. I'm not concerned to the point where I'm projecting doom and gloom. I don't like the fact that they will have 3 days off before they start the ALDS - I'm concerned that the offense will come out flat.

    Ray, I'm not superstitious at all, and my thoughts are based on my perception. I really feel like the s- called-experts get it wrong most of the time. And... to be clear... I don't fault you for posting that. Just making a comment.

    Whenever the experts and talking heads, etc. start making predictions about the Angels doing anything in October it makes me nervous, because time after time, they're just wrong. Personally, I'd rather the Angels be declared as being over-rated and just fly under the radar.

    I can't make up my mind about any of these teams, but I hope the A's miss the postseason all-together. It would just make this season that much sweeter.

    Thanks, Jeff! I think that most of the time when Angels fans see something they don't like - they want to understand why a move is made or not made and getting answers like this helps a ton. How cool is it that we can a viable response from one of the beat writers on this site?
