#Angels report that Josh Hamilton hit on the field, threw long toss, ran bases today, and "everything went well." Will repeat Tuesday.
KC over Oakland
Baltimore over Detroit in 4
Angels over KC in 4
SF over Pittsburgh
Cards over Dodgers in 4
Nationals over SF in 5
Angels over Baltimore in 6
Cards over Nationals in 7
Angels over Cards in 6
I would like to see the Tigers and KC tie and the Tigers win the Monday game and head to Baltimore. I really hope the A's miss the postseason all together

#Angels Matt Shoemaker stretched long toss to 150 feet today. Very encouraged by that. Hopes to get on mound in next few days. No setbacks.
All of these posts are great because you know what's going to happen...
CJ will pitch a shut-out and Lou will bring back this thread with an "I agree" post
I have a hard time with the idea that the post-season is a "crap shoot." That seems to dismiss the idea that sometimes the best team actually wins it all. It's not that random.
I think it's all about circumstances... I don't think Junior announced prior to his last season that it was his last. I don't think most players do that. Jeter did it and teams and the media seized the opportunity. There's definitely enough interest among baseball fans for something like this whether we like it or not.
I would have liked to have seen teams recognize Konerko... funny - the Yankees were one of the few, if not the only team to actually do that.
Jeter is unique in that he spent his whole career in NY under the biggest spotlight in sports. His being 6th all time in hits is absolutely amazing when you consider the names of people who has fewer hits than him....
Programs in the works...
