i just watched the trailer and was intrigued. i might've watched it if it was going to be a movie, but as a series? not likely.

i wasn't a fan at all of any of the star trek series, but the movies have been good on their own merits. i never felt like i was missing any important puzzle pieces. as for this one, i'm interested but non-commital. -

meh. bunch of san bernadino dodgers fan in there who weren't terribly friendly. neither was the all-white family of four. the mom of the family hijacked my seat while i was out getting food and since i didn't know if she was the owner of the suite or not, i didn't want to cause trouble. there were 18 seats but only 12 people showed up, so i made myself reasonably comfortable. didn't like having the glass from the suite next to us distort my view so much.

meh, it's a celebrity with a beautiful rack, so that alone makes it newsworthy. she's also a United Nations ambassador, so she's known worldwide. i have no idea if her actions will be inspiring to other women (it's a very costly surgery, apparently), but it gets played up like a ton of women will now be inspired to do this because the great celebrity did.

she announced this morning via people magazine that she's also going to have a hysterectomy. seems her mom and her grandma also had ovarian cancer, so she's not messing around with waiting for it to eventually find her.

i remember kids in grade school being really scared of catching cooties, and other kids threatening to give cooties to others whenever they wanted. it was an odd dynamic, to say the least.

yep, they've designed the lines so that wheel chairs and scooters can go through. i know at disneyland they no longer allow those patrons to just go to the front of the line.

my 81 year old mom went through this last year (only a single mast). she wears a pad. i imagine a younger woman would look at other options.
