    Just found a bunch of my old basketball cards which almost a complete set of ABA cards from around 1971. I need to find a card shop and see if there's a market for them.

    Alec Martinez signed a new two year deal. Penner signed a one year deal with the Ducks. Hate to see him go, but he's MIA too much during the season. Wish he'd play oct - march like he does Apr- June. i got to meet Penner a week before this past season started. I told him "when you scored that goal in Phoenix, I about jumped through the roof." he replied "me too." I'll miss you, big guy. best wishes.

    Nate, just FYI, last time Adam and I played there they said its okay if your t-shirt is long you can tie it into a knot on your back, just like victors mom does at the trailer park.

    In a game like this, I want to see a lot of offense. I'd rather see a pitchers duel in a playoff game. I realize its a personal preference and not everyone feels the same way, and that's okay.

    Tonight in Hollywood there was a group of 30-40 teenagers running around stealing purses and vandalizing things. Police arrested about a dozen of them but are still looking for ther suspects. Those who are legitimately protesting have separated themselves from this unruly mob but are also speaking out that it needs to end.

    For me, the problem is that the game is top heavy with pitching. As I said in another thread, you have all these stud starters and multiple closers, and it has just about killed all the offense in these games. These pitchers deserve to be there, but if you're looking for a game with lots of hits and runs, that time is gone. I don't really have any ideas on how to fix it, either, unless pitchers like Blanton are put into the game,
