    1. Maybe Beltre didn't want to play here. People tend to forget things like that in these debates. 2. There was plenty of negativity here about the length and amount of the contract he reportedly wanted. It now pails in comparison to what Pujols and Hamilton were signed for, but that wasn't a fair comparison at the time.

    The books were terrific fun. The first movie was a huge disappointment, but I'm willing to give the second a chance. If they avoid following the book again, that may be it for me with this series. If any of you have middle school aged kids, especially boys, they'll love these books.

    Watching Obama last night you could have come away thinking this guy had everything running smoothly. The only things missing from his answers were that the ball was coming out of Jeppys hand real well and the hitters just need to square up the ball a bit more.
