  1. Three day drug binge where no one can find you or go home to a kardashian. Tougher than deciding to drop the bomb on Japan.
  2. didn't he catch a second shot like that later in the same game?
  3. i thought matt barnes played for the clippers, no?
  4. Richards-carter-st. Louis Boy, that would be a fun line to watch.
  5. Same for me. Still waiting to hear back from them.
  6. The good news is that there are probably a few GMs who'd be willing to trade a decent player for him.
  7. I'm shocked he's been on seven teams. Lots of people figured him to be a 50+ doubles guy YIYO.
  8. during the all star break, he did a great bit for jimmy fallon's show where harvey went around new york interviewing mets and baseball fans, asking what they thought about matt harvey. a shocking number of people didn't recognize him.
  9. well, that was quite the revelation last night. the fact that vogel is lying to dexter about her son will come back to haunt her. as dexter was telling the doc about his plans to take harrison and hannah and leave the country, my first thought was "you shouldn't tell anyone, because someone is going to try and screw that up for you." ultimately i think dexter will take care of both vogel and oliver. i have my doubts as to whether or not he and hannah will actually leave miami together. not sure yet where deb fits into all of this, either.
  10. i love that sign! why would anyone want to tear it down? i see that sign and remember wrestling and roller derby at the olympic auditorium (i think felix chevy may have been a sponsor). it's so iconic. tearing it down would be like tearing down randy's donuts. i hope you're successful.
  11. found a picture of one of absolute favorites:
  12. when it came to cardboard books for naptime, these were the absolute best.
  13. because he has yet to offer the perfect answer of "sometimes you just have to tip your helmet to them and turn the page." when he can master that phrase, all will be forgiven.
  14. A year from now some reporter is going to tweet that Blanton had to be held back twice from attacking Weaver in the clubhouse, accusing Weaver of only going out there to pitch well instead of giving up a boatload of runs.
  15. I wonder how many of those people were fired by Arte. And that's not Sarah Jessica Barbaro. That's Lackey, and it's an easy mistake to make.
  16. If someone calls and asks about Trumbo, you really have to listen to their offer. His salary in the coming years will certainly go up, but he's not going to break the bank, so keeping or trading him because of salary shouldn't even be on anyone's radar. There are too many times when he looks completely baffled by some of the pitches, and his swings are embarrassing to watch. He's back on his heals or he swings only with his arms. He's a known quantity, but he is what he is. If someone offers a reasonable player in return, listen carefully.
  17. Boy, you colorodans don't get subtlety very easily. I'm in.
  18. That birdie putt Tiger missed on 18 - wow, what a putt.
  19. Phil missed the birdie putt but made par.
  20. Phil is on a serious roll right now. Four birdies in a row, and five out of his last six holes. Now sitting at -8 and about to putt for another bird, Ricky Fowler and Jonas Blixt are dressed exactly alike AND are paired together today. It's an orange fest gone wild.
