  1. How would you approach it? Serious question. When celebrities die, we often hear stories about their insecurities, sometimes to ridiculous degrees. It seems to affect artistic professions significantly, including your example of comedians. While I'm sure it also happens to accountants, bakers, and landscapers, and while publicity is definitely a lesser part of their professions than actors and musicians, I really think there's something that makes it more prevalent/common to the personalities that are involved in the arts.
  2. So where between 35 and 60. Bam, nailed it.
  3. i thought this thread was going to be about a tape your made for your girlfriend in high school featuring air supply, little river band, and culture club.
  4. • Prescription drugs, including the blood-pressure medication clonidine hydrochloride; the addiction-treatment drug buprenorphine; Vyvanse, a drug used to treat attention-deficit (hyperactivity) disorder; hydroxyzine, which can be used to treat anxiety; and methocarbamol, a muscle relaxer. Authorities are investigating whether Hoffman had prescriptions for these drugs, the sources said. i wonder what it is about acting and being a musician that pushes so many of these guys into all of this. those two professions seem to have an awfully high rate of use/abuse.
  5. not even bothering to click play.
  6. don't worry. hilary will fix everything.
  7. several of the commercials were odd this year, like the one for maserati. there were a couple others where they showed stuff that had nothing to do with the product. i was unhappy with the yogurt one where the yogurt dripped onto his lap. that wasn't appropriate for kids or families that were watching. the doritos time machine and the doberhuahua made me laugh, but not a lot.
  8. yes, this is only about dragging a good man down. you unlocked the code!
  9. He had a role in the Hunger Games. Wonder if they finished filming for the November release or if they'll have to reshoot some scenes without him or with another actor.
  10. Looking forward to it. Hope it delivers.
  11. I have a couple of umbrellas that spend about 99.9% of their time in the trunk of our car. I wish I had more opportunity to use them. My daughter takes an umbrella with her if even one drop falls within ten miles of our house.
  12. Denver desperately needs a long sustained scoring drive right now.
  13. I just get lost in those dreamy eyes. I have no idea what his swing looks like.
  14. I thin he's also the only player to score in that time, also. I'm sure they'll now go out score like sailors on shore leave against the Blackhawks tomorrow night,
  15. Is it okay if I just stear clear of Jays bathroom all the time?
  16. I'd welcome the Rams back to town. I'd be fine with a stadium at Hollywood Park, too.
  17. He was part of the Bering Sea Blue Man Group. Along with Tobias Funke.
  18. He was great in Along Came Polly. "Dude, I sharted." Always sad to see these things happen. Condolences to his family.
  19. Nate, agree with on the Oregon floor. Looks like it was painted by a bunch of bitter ex-wives.
  20. Political analyst at cbs weighed in on this last night. Said the letter written by wildstein doesn't reveal any smoking gun. Christie didn't know ahead of time or while it was going, but heard after the fact. He thought the letter really didn't indict Christie. Honestly, I think too much is being made of this. Maybe, as someone suggested, this is a test run to see how Christie handles a tough situation or to check the national pulse about him.
