Man, I totally forgot about public tables. Yeah, won't let my silverware near them.

yep. won't go near it. don't want to eat it or touch it or even look at it. sour cream is a close second.

at restaurants, when the cashier or waiter touches the top of your glass/cup before handing it to you, especially at serve yourself places. i'm also not very fond of wait staff who lean over my food or drink to serve someone and stick their tie or shirt on my plate or drink.

i think synthetic at places like jiffy lube is just another ploy to separate you from your money.

touching things in a hotel - the remote, the bedspread, the floor, and the toilet. when our group travels sometimes we end up in really dirty cheap places, and it drives me crazy. we're headed to beautiful downtown Lodi this weekend but we'll be in a nicer hotel, so i'm somewhat relieved.

local channel 7 news reporting here that we can expect grocery prices to go up, if they haven't already.

the bad news is that we need the water. the snowpack in the sierras is down, and that should be a huge concern for each of us. without enough water, we'll have huge problems in socal. imagine the state having to buy water from another state (probably far beyond what they already do) and how that cost will impact you. picture being on really tight water restrictions in your home. we need the rain and snow, at the very least, in the sierras. filling up our reservoirs throughout the state is an urgent matter as well.

That should end soon enough.

Generally speaking, I think I'd just simply not vote for anyone than vote for a third party guy who has about the same chance as I do of getting elected. But my conflict is that even my one little vote for a third party guy is a token gesture of rebellion against the other two morons, which I think has value. I hate that our choices have been reduced to such detestable candidates. I want a candidate I can really get behind, and sadly, he/she doesn't seem to exist. Giuliani in '16? I'd vote yes.
