    first team to win three game 7s on the road in one post season. had a really random thought as the first round was beginning about the Kings playing 7 games in all four rounds. so far, so good.

    i have a friend that's a youth pastor. he has a truck and used to have a pair of balls hanging from the trailer hitch. i never really understood how he couldn't see the contradiction in that. fortunately, he lost his on the freeway one day.

    there's a new series starting tonight on amc about the home computer boom in the 80s. using the DVR for it since game 7 is on tonight.

    they've done a good job of keeping play in the chicago zone. not much you can do about bad bounces. keep the pressure on and tighten up the defense in your zone. it should be enough. the hand-eye coordination by jeff carter is a thing of beauty.

    The Kings are going to play a solid game tomorrow night. If they can get back to shutting down Kane and play their game, they'll be okay and advance. No team has won three game 7s in one playoff year. The Kings will be playing their third one this year, all on the road. Toronto (93) and Colorado (02) played 21 games in the first three rounds but didn't reach the finals. It'll be quite an accomplishment to defeat San Jose, Anaheim, and Chicago.

    He always feels a need to phrase it that way. Might be forgetting they went 3-0 in all four series that year. They matured as a team that year. They saw what they could do when everyone played their best.

    Statistically speaking, the more guns that are out there, the more accidental shootings will increase. While the pro-gun supporters will quickly jump on every CCW shooting that prevented a bigger tragedy, anti-gun folks will just as quickly jump on every accidental shooting or every vigilante action that goes south. I worry about the hotheads on the fwys.
