with her win at pinehurst today, michelle wie wins the fourth tournament of her career, but it's her first victory in the continental u.s. she's won in mexico, canada, and hawaii prior to today. she's finally turned the corner on her much anticipated career. finished first today and second at the dinah shore. now she knows what it takes.

streelman's back nine was insane. seven straight birdies? who does that? he had one that curled into the back of the cup from about 40 feet away, maybe his fifth in a row. that was so cool to watch.

i still think a fair amount of cops actions are based on more aggressive criminals. not as an excuse for their actions so much as an explanation for why police seem more on edge these days.

you can take a harbor cruise around pearl harbor, as well as making a visit to the arizona memorial. all of the arizona stuff is sobering. my wife doesn't care much about history, but she really liked the harbor cruise. the colors of the water getting to pearl are incredible shades of blue and you don't want to miss even that. there's also a submarine there that's worth checking out. it's small but well worth taking a walk through. i think there's also a battleship in harbor as well.

While the DC football team may have a long history in American sports, the derogatory, racist, and insulting treatment of native Americans goes back hundreds of years, and as such, that's a trump card the football team can't match.

That's where someone like TJ Simers had some value. He'd ask questions others wouldn't or couldn't. His issue was being a gigantic tool in the process.

i find it impossible to believe that frieri only has 3 blown saves this year.

frieri is sosh's toy this year. with frieri's terrible performance this year and last, there's just no reason to keep throwing him into the high pressure fire of a save situation anymore. the only way for this to come to a stop is to trade frier or fire sosh.

two problems here. 1. frieri is no longer a reliable closer and needs to be removed from that role permanently. 2. everyone knows about #1 except sosh, and it may be time to take away his latest toy. given how poorly frier has performed this year, it's a stonehenge quality mystery as to why mike keeps running him out there in high pressure situations. this is really frustrating.
