video on CNN shows two things that look suspicious. - a small pile of passports from the debris that appear like brand new. no dirt, no wrinkles, no scorch marks, nothing. - what appears to be a missile, bruised and dented a bit. i'm not familiar with military explosives, but wouldn't a missile completely lose it's shape after slamming into a plane at hundreds of mph and exploding? i can't imagine there would really be anything left of it.

Interesting comment from a guy on cnn. He said any plane he's ever seen shot down by a missile Leaves a smoke trail from the time of impact until the plane hits the ground. There's no smoke trail for this plane, only an explosion where it hit the ground. Possibility of another cause? You have to wonder.

that bloodbath was a nightmare and a half. that guy should have received the needle years ago, but this emphasizes one of the big flaws in the system. remember also tookie and the big public outcry to rescind the death sentence on him because he was a changed man. such a long, long delay in applying the penalty gives more weight to the arguments against using the death penalty because the criminal is no longer the same person he was when he committed the crime. that just adds to the problem of carrying out the penalty the scumbag deserved.

Red Tails 8/10 this is the story of the tuskegee airmen of WWII. had it on the dvr and got around to it today. it's a moving story of how a group of african-americans had to prove their worth to see combat, and what a terrific job they did in the process. a few holes in the plot line, but worth watching.

i've seen a similar story about a family on vacation at disneyland some 30 years ago. took a picture on main street. person who just happened to be walking by in the background was an unknown person to them. he ended up marrying the girl in the picture. quite a story when they discovered it.
