i don't have a problem. Hamas' sworn program is to eliminate all of israel from the map. if they weren't involved in this specific attack against the israelis, they'll likely be involved in future ones because they consider israel the enemy and a state of constant war exists between the two sides. as for criminals in this country, the rule of law must be followed, which is different than a state of war existing between opposing countries.

out of curiosity . . . is there anyone here that would be in favor of legally assisted suicide but also opposed to the death penalty? if that's you, are you willing to explain why?

my issue, besides a spiritual one against killing, is how would someone determine just when a persons right to die has been met. what is the standard for that going to be? is a certain pain level? is it having a fatal disease? how would anyone determine that the criteria have been met for one to end their own life? we had to put a cat to sleep because it had become unbearably mean to live with. it was tough to convince the vet that this was the best course of action for a silly ol' cat.

i like the rock pile and like that it looks disney-ish. i hate buttercup and want it replaced with Centerfield by John Fogerty. when the halos were on the verge of winning game 5 in '86, i put a tape in the vcr and a cassette in my stereo to record the last outs. no idea what happened to either tape. i remember sitting there numb when that moron henderson hit his homer. i went to the world series parade at disneyland. i gathered some of the confetti from the exploding cannons along main street and carry it in my wallet still today. i also have confetti from the kings first stanely cup parade in there as well. i hate having a red A on a red hat. i'd change the color of the A on the hat to navy blue, and i'd have done it yesterday. in fact, i wish the halos would incorporate more navy blue into their uniforms. on the red jerseys, i would replace the gray piping with navy blue. stuff like that has always mattered to me for some reason. i don't care if they're the anaheim, los angeles, or california angels, but the current LAAofA name sounds idiotic.
