first 59 on the senior tour. been done on the pga tour 7 times, and has never been done on the european tour. wow, imagine shooting a 58. well, i mean, the rest of you can imagine it . . .

was driving near home yesterday and got to an intersection with a light. light turned green and the car in front of me, with their blinker on to turn left, wouldn't move out into traffic. there was no turn lane so it was really hard to get past them. honked at them - twice - and they still wouldn't budge. finally moved to the right and barely squeezed by them. it was a car full of nuns, none of them younger than 70. i honked at nuns. old nuns. twice. i may be in trouble.

my mom is 82 and still drives, although she drives a slower than most of the traffic around her. she wigs out in our cars when we're driving more than 65 mph. i think anyone 75 or older should be required to take a driving test every two years or so.

at least this isn't as stupid as dousing yourself in lighter fluid and lighting it up.

my dad had his license taken away a few years ago. he was in his early 80s and had some kind of incident where he ran the car up the side of a fwy embankment. he has only given us vague snippets and won't tell us the whole story. insurance company wouldn't cover him anymore and dmv yanked his license. it's a blessing to all that he can't get behind the wheel any longer.

yeah, me neither. had to go back to school this week and classes begin next wed, so we'll have to try for a vacation period. we'll try again, amigo.
