    i wonder how he faced her after this incident, knowing that she would always know what he was capable of doing. but even more, i wonder how he faces her relatives and in-laws. if someone did that to my daughter, i'd want to beat the living crap out of him each and every day.

    the people on board the fourth plane are very high on my list of heroes. one of them was a collegiate wrestler and another was a rugby player. the two of them could have done some damage on the terrorists all by themselves. that they got all the passengers to attack the terrorists was tremendous. i'd like to think i would have done something like that if i were in their position.

    one of my more vivid memories post-9/11 is driving to work each morning and seeing nearly every car with a US flag or decal on it. it was impressive to see that kind of patriotism.

    sorry, HM. i'm taking my daughter to the One Direction concert tonight and most of my energy is focused there right now. maybe tomorrow will be a better day once i'm recovered from the 90k screaming 12 year olds i get to spend my thursday night with at the rose bowl.

    i would have preferred to hear barry tell us last night that he had already talked to several coalition partners and that they had worked out details of a plan together. the fact that we don't have others with us yet is not good and makes his leadership look even worse. throw in the fact that he said this will not be a quick fix and you're looking at another iraq/afghanistan/vietnam possibility.

    i haven't watched either video. i refuse to believe there could be a controversy so big in the gaming world that it has the moniker gamergate, and that that's an acceptable term to use.

    i think it affected people who didn't know much about her yet and were looking for an honest discussion about her strengths and weaknesses. they portrayed her as a total airhead, and that comment was on everyone's lips for weeks. it gave her opponents a louder talking point, too. it was equivalent to dan quayle spelling potato wrong.

    that may be a bit of an exaggeration, but it's not uncommon for a bike rider to drive fast on a sidewalk and hit a crosswalk at full speed. i've seen it several times in glendale, and it frankly scares the crap out of me when i see a bicyclist on my right. they've become unpredictable and dangerous because i have no confidence that they'll follow the law.

    my men's chorus sang at dr. james dobson's focus on the family headquarters in 2003. the special guest that day was lisa beamer. we got to meet her afterwards. she has such a powerful story to tell. i wonder how her boys are doing.

    they play on top of a hill but that hill is always referenced as the canyon that runs close by. public school geography is not good.
