    i wonder when they're going to start showing up in our classrooms. gonna have to develop some new guidelines for them. has anyone at your school brought in google glasses? we haven't seen any of those yet.

    a guy i sing with bought the 6 and brought it to rehearsal today. it looks nice, but it's bigger than i thought. at first i thought it was the 6 plus, but it wasn't. that 6 plus is going to be huge to tote around.

    p.s. i haven't seen much of anything gibson has done since his dui arrest, mostly because they didn't look very interesting.

    how seriously should we take the ramblings of a guy who's drunk? i don't know much about being drunk but don't you lose an awful lot of your control for things you do and say? it seems to me that anyone who's drunk shouldn't be held highly accountable for whatever they say because they aren't in total control. i don't know for sure, however. help?

    i hope hamilton is okay and recovers well from whatever this is. as for the playoffs, i'm for whatever lineup gives us the best chance of winning. whether that's with hamilton or without doesn't matter to me.

    washington was smart to time his apology with the mess going on with ISIS. that way there is less attention on him and this gargantuan scandal. this might have been even bigger than gamergate. well played, skip. well played.

    i feel the same way about Ryan's all you can eat buffet. my F-I-L loved eating there. man, their food blows. that was the only thing i didn't like about nebraska.

    stuff like this makes me think that ISIS is just looking for a fight anywhere they can find one with no regards to who or why. australia? really? there's no ideaological beef with them, nor have they taken any military action against ISIS (that i'm aware of). just itching for a fight.

    people automatically think that having technology available is going to make our kids smarter just like that. kids still need basic tools like how to read and how to find information, then understand what that info means. you can use technology for that, but ipads in and of themselves are not a cure all.
