keegan bradley blows. patrick reed was a complete surprise. very impressive. lefty was very unhappy in his tv interview. said they had a terrific strategy in '08 that worked well, and for some odd reason, no one seems to want to use it anymore. i don't know what strategy it was, but it sounded very much like he tried to bring it up to watson and got shot down or ignored.

buddy, check your scriptures again. all who come to Christ can be saved. there is not one mention of anyone in scripture being saved because of their denomination. not one. we are saved because of our relationship with Jesus, pure and simple. whether or not you're a catholic isn't relevant to your eternal salvation.

big issue with kids right now believing that they can recharge their smart phones by placing them in the microwave for 60 or 70 seconds. kids do stupid things because they're not always great thinkers or employ much common sense. but this guy brings stupid to a whole new level.

went to the local apple store yesterday. they were fantastic at tracking down serial numbers of my missing items. was impressed at what they accomplished. asked the manager about selling used floor/display models. she told me they don't do that, that everything gets sent back to apple. showed me on the website where i could buy refurbished macs, and they ran about 100-150 less than brand new ones. if i buy brand new, i qualify for the educational discount, which equals $100 off list price. it's not much, but it helps. we're not in any hurry to buy, so i think i'm going to keep my eyes on the refurbished list.

same process for me. i saw colors i'd never ever seen before. it was surreal, to say the least. i also got valium before and after the surgery. it was helpful.

jr high school history teacher. this is my 31st year. not really in a mood to give out a lot of personal information these days. nothing personal, phil.

went to the social security admin yesterday. those fine, wonderful people are open from 9-3, so now i have to take time off work to go see them. they also close at noon on wednesdays. i'm sure they deserve it. also went to the passport office and almost blew a major gasket. the clerk told me i have to mail in the lost/stolen report form instead of just giving it to him, unless i'm also paying right then and there and applying for a new passport, which i wasn't prepared to do. oh, and this was the part that really made me happy, i get to pay the full renewal price of $135 for a passport that some uninvited dbag took from my locked safe in my house. yay! gov't workers . . .

gained entry through an open window in our bathroom, 7 feet high. stood on a chair and climbed through a window no more than 13 inches wide. had to be almost the size of a child to get in. tried getting in through the kitchen door and then the sliding back door. they through a rock and then a brick at our sliding doors without any luck - not sure what company makes that glass, but i highly recommend them. police fingerprinted the window, which led into our shower, and they fingerprinted that as well. the genious left one of our kitchen knives in one of the bedrooms and the police took that to fingerprint also. phil, no negligence on the part of the landlord, who happens to be the employer of both my wife and i. they've been pretty good about repairs and changed the locks the next day. there was no fault from them.
