the seventh day adventist church used to have a program called the 5 day stop smoking clinic. highly successful. it trained people to unlearn habits that put them in situations in which they smoked and tried to help them find alternatives. lots of behavioral changes, and it worked very well. my dad quit smoking after going through it. i don't think our church doesn't do this program anymore, and i've been sorry to see it go. a lot of churches are now using a program called Celebrate Recovery, which a church-based 12 step program.

i still think sony can save face on this by releasing the movie on video immediately, putting it on netflix immediately, and getting it onto hbo or showtime in january. they'll still get the movie out there for the public to see, and they'll still make money on it, all the while being prudent and not letting some maniacs have a big say in what movies are or are not made and released.

thanks. i think injuries and playing time would have to be addressed in the CBA. i can certainly see playing time becoming an issue for some players and managers (and probably a few agents, also).
