    i was in high school when "you are so beautiful" came out. liked it so much i wrote down the words and kept the paper under my bitchin' clock-radio on my desk at home. went to the beach one day while my mom decided to clean the house. came home and she's nearly in tears when she sees me. i asked her what was wrong and she said "this poem you wrote is beautiful. i really like it." i had to explain to her who joe cocker was and that there would be no royalty checks for me.

    i'd imagine there are some good reasons for why they chose to do this, but on the surface this looks like a really, really cheap move.

    maybe it's just being reported more these days, but the number people stealing Christmas packages off of people's porches is alarming. who steals someone else's packages? also intriguing is the number of people who now have a video camera focused on their front porch.

    LOVED watching the chargers come back and slam the niners. that was outstanding. indy is sinking fast. they can't seem to get their offense going for anything.

    i thought the finale was boring. didn't reveal anything new to me other than carrie has a mom and a brother. maybe some of you saw things i didn't see, but man, that was lackluster to say the least.

    thanks for the info. it's making me wonder about my own info at work as we're going through our health insurance sign-ups this very week. hope things are safely stored there, along with payroll information. didn't realize my question would set off such a long discussion, but it had a lot of good info (even from straddling the troll).
