using this week to clean out the DVR. catching up on Scandal and several history shows. right now i'm watching "America Unearthed: Secrets of the Alamo". since we're going to be studying the alamo in a few weeks i thought this might be useful. wrong. it's spent it's entire time focusing on whether or not davy crockett survived and lived elsewhere after the battle, and not so much on the battle itself. if anything, the show is mistitled. i got sucked in on the promise of something more. think i'll be deleting other shows in this series i've recorded.

inception = C an interesting concept, but i can see how audiences were so confused. my biggest issue was that i had to turn the volume on the tv up to ridiculously high levels just to hear the whispered dialogue that was so prevalent throughout the movie. i hate when movies do that.

we bought a new bed several years ago. got the sleep number bed. tried it out in the store and it felt nice, and the salesman said my size wouldn't be an issue (i'm an extra large guy). bought and took it home, and regretted it from the first night. i'm not sure i ever got a decent night's sleep on it. my wife was just okay with it, but i think their return policy at the time really stunk so we were stuck with it. we gave up a waterbed for it, and that bed was fantastic but old. it had the self-contained water tubes, and since i slept a lot on my side, it was terrific. i'd get one again. do your research, and make sure you ask about return policies.

i HATE how every time a jets game was on the tube, about half the time the camera showed ryan on the sidelines. the same is true for his dbag brother, wherever he's coaching. i wish the networks understood that i don't want to watch the coach on the sidelines during every dead ball.

glad to see this saints season done and over with. they frustrated me greatly. it felt like every time i picked them to win in our weekly pool, they'd lose. and every week i picked against them, they won. today i picked tampa to upset them. i hate the saints.

24+ hours later and still no hint of the plane. no debris found, and apparently this is an area frequented by plenty of ships. what about the transponder? did it get turned off? this flight has the same fisihiness to it that MH370 had. i think that plane ended up in a hangar somewhere, and i wouldn't be surprised if this one does too.
