there used to be a show on some cable channel that featured plastic surgeons and the people that would go see them for all kinds of things (not just boob jobs). don't remember the show or the channel, but i remember there was this one chick who was so terribly distraught because she thought her entire taint area was "too dark". she was there to get something called a vaginal bleaching. she described it as part of the reason why she couldn't sustain a long term relationship. i kept thinking that was just the tip of the iceberg for why guys were bailing on her.

i have a student who brings a PBJ sandwich for lunch several times a week, only they are not homemade. these sandwiches are purchased at the grocery store and have the crusts cut off. i can't imagine how much more expensive it is to buy sandwiches like this instead of making them yourself and then simply cutting the crusts off with your own knife. i imagine they have a lot more fat/calories, too.
