    I wonder what the new water restrictions are going to mean for water parks this summer.

    I don't know how it is now, but the city of Glendale used to lose its mud over people trying to install artificial turf in their yard. City council members or HOAs or somebody didn't like the way it looked. Our school, which isn't visible from the street, had to apply to the city for special permission to install artificial turf one of our playgrounds. Took the city about a month to finally give the okay.

    is there a buyout clause in hamilton's contract? wonder how much it would be. as for speaking out publicly, i don't disagree with how the front office feels, but i disagree with going public about it. should have kept this as an internal discussion.

    late to the game here, and haven't read all the comments, but from the few i've seen there's a consensus on hoping hamilton gets himself healthy and that his playing time with the angels end sooner rather than later. i agree with both. i'm surprised at the arbitrator's rulling. makes no sense.

    according to the article, the commish and MLB wanted to suspend him. it was the arbitrator who ruled that they couldn't, not a direct decision of the commissioner.

    we're allowed 3 times per week, but i'm expecting that to change pretty quickly.
