    marriott's great america in san jose is an amusement park your kids might enjoy. used to have a big emphasis on bugs bunny as their major character. there's also a place in vallejo that is part zoo part sea world. can't think of the name right now, but it's worth a visit.

    If you have kids with you, visit the Monterey aquarium. Make sure you see the otters. If anyone likes to play golf, you're in nirvana. Lots of good courses at a variety of prices. There's an outlet mall in Gilroy, Plus It's the home of the annual garlic festival. Everyone should try garlic ice cream at least once. I think the festival happens sometime in June.

    Keeping Kopitar will be a priority next summer. I don't expect Richards to be around much longer, and I'm hopeful that Brown will restructure his deal somehow. We're still waiting for a decision about Voynov, also. We asked for some cap relief for him last year, but I think that was denied by the league.

    I like the novelty of the hill. Just something different that doesn't seem to pose much of a problem for anyone. What I'd rather see them do fix the paint scheme of the left field wall. When there's a fly ball in that direction, you can't see it on tv because it's painted a cream color and the ball gets lost very easily.

    my concern with her is that she is starting to play the same character in every movie - really crass, lots of pratfalls, etc. would like to see the movie she did with bill murray, hoping that she breaks out of her mold.

    i'm guessing he's probably a very quiet man and has the patience of a saint.

    looking at her through my teachers' eyes, i imagine she's probably the last parent to leave the drop-off area every morning, and that parent conferences with her would involve me doing most of the listening while she babbles non-stop for twenty minutes, never really giving me a chance to share my observations with her about peyts.

    school has ended and today is an optional work day. chance to sleep in! so what happens? naturally, i'm wide awake twenty minutes before my usual wake time. sometimes i loathe myself.
