    so how does one become an arms dealer? it's not like it's a major at cairo university (or maybe it is, i haven't seen undergrad course schedule). seem to be plenty of them, and i'm left wondering how Sahib is able to purchase massive quantities of weapons designed for military. asking for a friend, just in case anyone is watching.

    they're nog providing that detail, but yeah, sounds about right. mortars are used to launch the fireworks you see at shows, and those are pretty powerful explosives. not sure how they had something that required a mortar to launch. i'm sure the lawsuits that are bound to come from this will address that issue.

    btw, there's a show on the golf channel called altered course. contestants have really tough conditions under which they have to play, like finishing a hole in under three minutes and so on. i've watched a little bit of it and liked it. anyone seen it yet? it's on tonight in about half an hour.

    spieth has a shot at a grand slam. that alone should make it worth watching. i have this weird image of rory limping around st. andrews wearing a boot/cast around his leg and trying to break par. i wonder if pga rules would allow him to play in some sort of cast. anyone know?

    i was a social studies major, but we studied history and stayed away from sociology kinds of issues. unless, of course, my professors were a heck of a lot more clever than any of us realized at the time.

    for you financial guys out there . . . in the US we as citizens are encouraged/expected to carry a certain amount of debt. does this play in to the situation at all in greece? i don't really get a lot of this stuff, tbh, but i wonder if a country that runs up so much debt like we do is setting itself up for the same thing to happen.
