    they're jr. high kids, so logic immediately does not apply. i figured that for some kids who are uncomfortable with their bodies, it was a way to coverup. in talking with a couple of kids at lunch, they think it's all about just creating a certain image with your look and has nothing to do with modesty or body issues.

    he returned to work today. lots of protest messages taped on to his office windows. he had security with him. the overreaction is very strong.

    i've seen the name wofford more times this week than i can ever remember.

    sex slavery in thailand is a very real thing. one of my friends (who's a pastor) has been to a camp in the northern part of the country where girls can find safe haven. the sex trade is very real and very much a nightmare for the girls who've been sold into it. there are a lot of good people trying to break up the industry, but they're having a very difficult time because there's so much of it.

    i swear, we're going to have to have a kid suffer heat stroke and call the paramedics before some of these knuckleheads take off their jackets on days when it's 97+ degrees outside.

    in sixth grade i used to eat lunch everyday with a kid who brought an RC cola from home. he used to pull the tab and drop it in, then fish it out with a straw. he did this same routine every single day. every. single. day.

    i remember her. couldn't tell you much about her except she didn't seem to have a lot of lines. did she do any memorable characters on laugh in? i can't think of one.

    i thought that they just paid a fine and life continued as it was before. i know that the rural chinese families don't have quite the same requirement on number of children. one of the chinese kids i taught was the third of five kids, so bigger families do exist.

    in the tv commercials that ran during the playoffs last year, montana looked like a 90 year old man. this picture is a vast improvement.

    and you're divorce will be on monday if you're sitting on your butt watching football the day after your wedding.

    stenson was a good club and a half short on that tee shot. the wind wasn't crazy so i'm not sure how you make that big a mistake on the 70th hole. it may be that his caddie just simply talked him into it. as they were walking up to see his tee shot i thought wouldn't it be crazy if stenson fired him right here right now.

    enjoyed watching ohio state tonight. Was concerned about the turnovers and the lack of joey bossa on defense, but JT Barrett, Braxton Miller, and Cardale Jones more than made up for it on offense. Things looked good tonight for a proper defense of their title this season.

    My mom went to the USSR in 1985. She also voted for Hillary in the '08 primary. I'm not really sure what to think right now.

    Solid work by Fowler today for his third win of the season. Gotta wonder what Stenson was thinking on 16 with that tee shot.

    Trying to work in a lesbian studies class, but not sure where to put it in the schedule.

    Emergency was my favorite show as a kid. We watched Adam 12 a little bit but my mom didn't like us to watch it because she thought the content was too intense for kids. She felt that way about all police shows, but she was okay about Emergency because she was an ER nurse.

    Would like to go but work prohibits that.

    If Duke went to SA for his honeymoon, I'd assume it was to be in an exotic location with amazing animals and a chance to have a lot of sex with his wife. I doubt it would have anything to do with the system there.
