    season premier of Castle was on monday night. not sure if anyone else here watches it, but i feel like the story line about the death of her mother has played too long and needs to be put to rest.

    the lack of knowledge in our news stations these days is a terrible thing. whoever does the research for graphics and pictures needs better oversight, but so does the moron who gives the final approval for so many of these things that find their way onto the air. stuff like this just shouldn't happen.

    ha, i thought of garagiola, too, when i first heard the news. joe was such a good storyteller, and he always seemed to have a great yogi berra story to pass along.

    i think i've heard more stories about worries over security than anything about why the pope is actually here to visit.

    well, most of us felt like they needed to take at least 2 of 3 to still be in the race, and they've done that in houston. on to the next series and hoping for more of the same.

    it seems like the more we rely on technology, the more we realize that technology isn't reliable.

    wow, that really blows. i'm sure a good prosecutor can make a case without the rape kit, but his job just got about 100% more difficult without it. i hope they catch whoever thought they were doing kane a solid by doing this.

    he inadvertantly said the funniest things. people forget that he was a great ball player. won the mvp 3 times, and i think it was when they only named one for the entire game, not one per league. thanks for keeping us entertained, yogi.
