    anyone watch the season premiere on sunday? it moved pretty slowly. it's well done, but i'm losing interest because it's not nearly as compelling as years past. i miss brody and wish they wouldn't have killed him off. i don't really find myself rooting for carrie very much.

    disney parks significantly raise prices on annual passports while eliminating the premium passport. the most expensive passport is now $1049 per year. http://micechat.com/111763-star-wars-changes-disneyland/ this is a long article but it's well worth the read. i didn't realize there's a bi-coastal passport for those who like both the florida and california parks. it will now cost $1439 per year.

    Bobby Cox also had the benefit of longevity and a great win total. Sosh can hang around long enough to move into that neighborhood and get into the HOF because of it.

    Stuff like that is pretty standard practice on FB. One time I posted that I was sick with bronchitis and had 9 people like my post. Did that mean they were happy I was sick? It was weird.

    I think you're argument against sosh lost steam with this post. If players underperform, the manager needs to replace them. If the GM doesn't give him better talent to use, what then? Maybe the players just aren't very good. I don't see how that falls squarely on the shoulders of just the manager.

    And if we had won and needed Smith again tomorrow? And then again on Tuesday? Would he have been able to go out there and be effective? And what makes you think the crapfest that couldn't get out of the seventh would have worked well in the ninth?

    Not to be a buzzkill but Trout had a shot at a ring last year and was pretty invisible against the Royals.

    In 95 we were in first place but lost the division. This year isn't the same or nearly as painful. And they've got a long, long, LONG way to go to match 86.
