    what do you put on them? i'm a pretty standard guy - ketchup and relish on one side of the dog, and a little mustard and onions on the other side of the dog. the dog haus in pasadena has some really good options. i like the cowboy, which comes with bbq sauce, deep-fried onion strips, and white american cheese slightly melted onto the buns - they use king's hawaiian bread rolls for their hot dog buns and it's insanely good. so how do you like your dogs?

    we're fans of castle. the daughter, alexis, actually came to my church to worship for several weeks in the summer of 2013. her family has adventist roots, and i think her mom is still an adventist. she was friendly and very approachable. mom was really nice, too.

    gung ho and mr. mom are terrific, underrated comedies. we still watch mr. mom every once in a while. michael keatons' first movie comedy was a little known ron howard film called Night Shift, with henry winkler and shelly long (the proverbial hooker with a heart of gold). it was hilarious and very quotable.
