watching that video, two things struck me: 1. why don't stores have some kind of wristband system, where only a certain amount of people are allowed in at a certain time? what they're doing now clearly isn't working, and people are getting hurt in the process (not to mention how this reflects on us as a society). 2. if i were a pickpocket, i'd go to as many black friday store openings as possible. easy pickens on those days.

the el pollo loco in glendale has gone to hell. they've stopped serving the smoky black beans, so i don't really have a reason to buy their food any more. and one time in the drive thru, we asked if they had root beer. the guy said yes. picked up our food and drove off, only to find that what we thought was root beer was actually raspberry ice tea. idiots. they don't get my business any more.
