a year or two ago there was a very short forecast that glendale would get snow. my daughter was so exited about it she took a screen shot. the prediction was gone within a couple of hours, but oh, for a few minutes there, we had a glorious hope of actually see snow at home.

you've said before that we don't have a sense of humor. maybe you just need to make your jokes funnier.

do you get one? something simple (extra cash) or something elaborate (like a trip)? ours is pretty simple - school gives us $50 and our parent organization gives us double that. my wife's cousin used to get trips to hawaii or england.

try HSN or QVC. we bought one from them this year. came with lights already attached.

i'll tell you how smart he is - i tried using 'gainsaying' in my words with friends game and it was flat out rejected. even a bunch of smart guys that run an internet game like that haven't event heard of it, so you know joe is way ahead of the game.

as long as we have a do-it-yourself system, people will always be in a variety of classes. there are a multitude of reasons for why people end up where they do. it's up to individuals to make the most of the opportunities that are out there in our system. that involves taking advantage of education and pursuing things that interest you for a career. paying people $15 for flipping burgers as a career move is not going to move people from a lower class to a higher one, nor is increasing my taxes to help little lamar get more food stamps. it's not the job of gov't to create those opportunities and that's why socialism needs to take a hike. i worked hard to get where i am. there's no reason the next guy shouldn't do the same.

i get that she doesn't want her son to go to a prison - that's a tough thing to experience and he looks like he'd get his butt kicked daily. but how twisted is she to think that this is any kind of justice for what he did? is she really expecting that this will teach him the responsibility for his actions that she so miserably failed at doing in their home? i just don't get how our legal system allowed this, and i'm pissed about it.

seems like it's become extremely difficult to express your own opinions on campuses these days unless follow what the SJWs want. college seems like a much angrier, more difficult experience than it should/used to be. that's tragic.
