    i'd love it if it was the rams and chargers. the raiders brought out the worst in people, and i never felt safe going to a game there. they're going to stir all that up again by coming back.

    rumors circulating this morning that the 2017 all star game is coming to staples center.

    driving to the forum from glendale was not difficult, and i did it for twenty plus years. the best part was there were small crowds, but even on sellouts it was never terrible until you got to within a block or two of the forum. it'll be a lot different having 70,000 football fans driving to hollywood park. the good news is that the 405 is close at hand, and it's a short drive to the 110 or the 105.

    i'd be happy with $4.3 million, though it won't be enough for me to have a helicopter.

    first time seeing 3-on-3 in OT. i liked how much room they had to skate, but was kind of surprised they didn't shoot more. the shootout was terrific. both goalies were amazing. the blues don't suffer anything at all by having elliot in net.

    House and cars for me and the immediate family. College for junior. Donations to previous schools I attended and worked at. Donation to my church. A helicopter. Not sure when, but I'd retire from my job. Season seats for the Kings and Angels. Find some worthy causes to support enthusiastically.

    AO, it looked like he just shanked it, a dead pull hook. the holder didn't get the laces turned away, so the kicker struck them. i don't know how much of a difference that actually makes, and it certainly doesn't seem like it would make much of a dif on a 27 harder, but that's probably all you're going to hear. saw the kicker afterwards telling the press it was all on him for blowing it.

    packers offense started off slowly but shook it off. defense was solid. good showing all the way around.
