    beyonce is getting a lot of criticism for her tribute to the black panthers (the way her dancers dressed was the tribute). the song she sang was also a rant against the police, even though she was escorted by a ton of them to and from the game. someone on facebook said it's become okay for blacks to be racist now, and everyone just has to accept it.

    agreed, mt. i think the goal should be for as many people as possible to no longer need gov't to provide for them. while there will always be people who require gov't help for various reasons, this cycle of depending only on the gov't to give you money and services is being abused at an alarming rate. because bernie seems to only want to raise taxes and not cut any gov't spending, he's increasing this cycle of dependence. i can't support that.

    wow, what a bonanza tonight! wasn't very surprised to hear how in 68 previous games in boston the kings had won only 16 times. always been a den of death for us. tonight was fun to watch. buddy of mine is a boston fan. he was at work when i texted him that it was a nail biter with 2 minutes left in the third. he had no idea.

    this is usually about the point in the process where someone drudges out a "for the last 18 elections, whoever wins in new hampshire wins the presidency" kind of a stat. or whatever it is.

    bernie and the donald winning in new hampshire doesn't speak very highly of the people of new hampshire. impressed that kasich finished second. apparently christie is headed back to jersey to have a nice long chat with himself about his chances. i like christie and hope he stays in the race. he needs to find that moment that puts him on every lead story in the news (in a good way).

    88 today, but it didn't feel hot. that was unexpected for me. a couple of days like this doesn't bother me, but i want lots of rain, also.
