    ha, i saw him (finally!) at the comdey & magic club also. we had tickets to see him two other times but he cancelled both of them so we saw someone else (dave coulier was one of the subs, and he was great). shandling's stand up act was terrific.

    yeah, agree with posey, altuve, and arenado. they're playing the best over the course of the season. gonzales is past 30 and that brings some uncertainty. betts is someone i would watch for another season before deciding anything on him. certainly wouldn't pick him over anyone else on your list right now.

    The two best television announcing teams of my life as a fan have been Enberg and Drysdale, and Scully and Garagiola. Joe and Vinnie were the absolute best story tellers.

    if gov't doesn't provide basic services, then what good are they? whether it's state, local, or federal, we give them our consent to provide these things and to collect our tax money for them. socialism says all of us must be financially equal. that's a much different thing.
