    slow and steady wins the race, amigo. need to be like a good long distance runner and have a big kick at the end. the jack-rabbits don't usually seem to win, especially at the belmont.

    in education we learn quickly that for consequences to have any value, they need to be administered asap so the bad behavior isn't repeated. This decision is not about that. This court decision is about asserting the authority of the commisioners office. Brady and the pats need to take their medicine and move on, enjoying the fact that their 38 year old QB is now going to get four extra weeks of rest (which might actually be helpful for him).

    rangers looked just as bad as the kings. or maybe pittsburgh is finally ready to be a good team again. blues need to close this thing out. i don't think anyone wants to see the blackhawks advance again.

    i don't know how you deal with brown's contract. i wish he contributed more offensively, but the fact he's captain speaks highly of what he contributes to the team as a whole. i just wish it didn't cost us so much. don't know if the nhl allows contracts to be restructured, but if they do i'd sit down with brownie asap this summer and see what can be done.
