his only hope now is to fight for a contested convention. he'll keep fighting because of his belief that a contested convention still gives him a shot at the oval office. and he'll be 100% wrong about it, too.

normal price increases happen all the time, and we all deal with them. but this issue isn't about that. with a significant increase in labor costs, it's going to affect everything else more quickly and more dramatically. the idea that a big mac will only go up seventeen cents is foolhardy. the idea that business owners will accept losing profits is foolhardy. the idea that the guys already making more than $15 an hour will be content to stay right where they are is foolhardy. you've heard of trickle down economics? well, this is going to be trickle up. and all of those costs are going to be passed on to consumers, who will be spending more of their money for essentials. it's going to have some serious consequences to the big picture. whenever the beginning of the move to $15 an hour happens, go around to see what your usual purchases cost. in a year, check and see what those prices are. and do that every year another dollar is added to the minimum wage. seventeen cents? bwhahahahahaha!!!

it would be a stunning thing if the ducks, kings, and blackhawks, the true heavyweights in the west, were all eliminated in the first round.

on the serious side, because of things like spray charts these days, there could be times where you position players in unusual places because of a hitters' tendencies. if that means a 4th outfielder in a few situations, why not? as AJ said, there are plenty of times where we already see the second baseman positioned as a shallow right fielder. and as someone else pointed out, hitters are pretty predictable and rather hit into the gap created by a shift.

when my men's chorus travels out of state, we pick up about 6 rental cars/vans. the guy who coordinates all of this for us, without fail, doesn't have same info as the people at the counter need for the reservation, and so a long series of phone calls take place to try and work out the screwed up information. this happens 100% of the time we rent cars. can't think of any exceptions.
