new orleans rained out saturday and sunday. going to finish monday and a 54 hole event.

i don't think i've heard a word about the city of oakland trying to build a new stadium to keep the raiders. but then it begs the question of who is really responsible for building a stadium, the city or the team? the team will use it a max of 12 times a year, plus maybe an occasional super bowl. the rest of the year? concerts, motocross shows and monster truck rallies, and what else?

i'd like to introduce you to roy hibbert. in hockey, we say a slow guy is a pylon. i'm not sure what the basketball equivalent is, but roy hibbert is it. not as lazy on defense as james harden, but pretty darn bad. hope his tenure here is done.

karlsson doesn't play shorthanded, either. burns has had a really good year and score a ton of points. he was very good last year, too. doughty's been better for longer and i hope this is his year. feel the same way about kopitar and the selke, too.
