i ended up picking stenson. pretty glad i did. i have westwood and garcia on my team. neither one of them is a good finisher in the majors. going with sergio sunday because, well, just because.

this is one of those elections where both sides must be thinking "there's NO WAY i could lost to him/her. NO WAY!! i think i'll redecorate the Lincoln bedroom first."

we only hear about the ones where a cop ends up shooting the guy. i wonder how many times a cop doesn't shoot a suspect. it seems that there are those who blame only the police, and those who blame only those who get shot. i'm glad to see that there are more people coming out and speaking up about how both sides bear responsibility. it's not simply one side or the other is to blame.

remember, there are always those who ignore the rules.

maybe thirty years ago our group sang at a church in san diego. they were honoring one of their congregants who had just returned from a tour in the middle east and had been involved in the air force bombing of targets in libya. talked to him during potluck and he said they used to talk to the libyans on whatever common radio frequency they could (not sure if i'm wording that correctly) and they used to taunt the libyans pilots quite a bit. one of the things they'd do was to mention how much they loved bacon and then make pig grunting sounds. used to drive the libyans nuts.
