    anyone here remember when our current VP Joe Biden ran for president in '84? he was flat out busted for plagiarizing speeches from JFK. didn't seem to hurt him too much in the long run. this is a really big non-issue in the bigger picture.

    feeling kind of proud of myself tonight. i just finished coordinating the email addresses on my phone with the email addresses on my computer so that they're all synched. i feel like i've just painted the house.

    U-verse has a channel dedicated to showing the convention without any commentary, much like c-span. They just finished the benediction, some chick pastor from somewhere. Stood up there "praying" with her eyes wide open and her face looking all around the arena. I'm never a fan of that kind of "praying."

    dick morris is being interviewed on fox business news channel by maria bartiromo and was asked the difference between hilary's mistakes and trump's mistakes: "trump is in trouble for what he's said, but hilary's in trouble for what she's done. you can undo what you said, but you cannot undo what you've done."

    the 15 minutes i saw was the part where they arrived at his sister audrey's house with chris hemsworth walking around in his fruit of the looms and then they rounded up cattle. it was slow and tedious, and we bailed. maybe there are better parts, but we didn't have the desire to hang in there and find out.

    man, when we traded for tex i was so excited. thought this guy was going to be with us a long time. sweet, sweet swing and tremendously productive. what an absolute drop off the edge of the table for him.

    football and basketball players don't seem to have near the amount of superstitions that baseball players have, which is a pretty impressive list of things. but as many as baseball players are known to have, i think hockey players have even more. some pretty insane stories out there.

    i'll admit this part is true. i have a serious issue, however, with all the nonsense and dribble and coded messages. i think i might enjoy twitter more if i stopped following people and just kept it to sports and news.

    can played a video the shooter made. a 29 year old angry black man who said that bullies only understand violence. he said protesting doesn't get heard, and that a bully only understands when you fight back, and it was time to fight back. it's possible the shooter phoned in a fake 911 call to lure the police into a trap, some kind of kill zone.
