    the coverage on the satellite channels (NBCSN, USA, msnbc, cnbc) have decidedly fewer commercial interruptions, and their coverage has been decent enough. any of the other old-timers here still miss jim mckay at the anchor desk? he set the bar extremely high, and nobody has come close to reaching it.

    i've had a couple of taylor drivers and they were so-so for me. my favorite set of clubs was a knockoff set of ping 2 irons that are now gathering dust in @Adam's garage. my favorite driver was a lynx, and my favorite three-wood was a hallway big bertha strong 3. since i have big, wide feet, i buy whatever golf shoes i can find that fit, and i haven't used a golf glove in more than a decade. i don't have blister problems without one, either.

    man, every day i hate this presidential race just a little bit more. i'm finding hate in places i never knew it existed. never have i wanted two candidates to just STFU more than this year.

    @notherhalo after taking a caribbean cruise in june, there are several places there i'd like to visit. we saw cozumel, grand cayman, and jamaica, but i'd like to see the virgin islands and a few other places.

    i tried acupuncture on my cruise in june. did both knees and ankles. helped more than i thought it would, though i would've had even more success if i had had more sessions.

    there's a product called magnesium citrate, and it's about twenty times more effective for those who need a laxative. trust me on this one.
