gotta tell you, vegas, this one doesn't bother me. i think character matters every bit as much (if not more) than grades. grades come and go, but character is something you have to live with every day, and because it goes with you the rest of your life, it needs to be attended to properly. i agree that giving everyone a participation trophy is a bunch of nonsense, but give me a kid with character any day over a kid who's simply in it for the grades and treats everyone around like a servant or a peasant.

things like this are just so incomprehensible. i'm assuming drugs or alcohol was involved for the participants. the death penalty should be used in this case.

haven't tried to import keynote presentations yet as i'm honestly not sure how to go about it. i'm thinking i'll probably either email things in keynotes or put it on a flash drive and hope i can transfer it to the dell. i'm not sure if i know how to adjust the text zoom. in this system there's a little rectangular box and when i clicked it, it made the viewing of aw.com larger and wider, but there's still some issue with being able to scroll all the way down as well as quitting the browser when i'm done. yes, we're using chrome. i've used it in the past and am familiar with it, though i know safari much better.
