i also thought it worth asking since he wants to see things change. just sitting down during the national anthem is not going to cause change in and of itself. is he bringing new awareness to these issues? hardly. so what will be accomplished by his statement? where is he going with all of this? sure people are talking about it, but the conversation has not been about "hey, you know, kap is right. let's treat others better." it's been focused on does he have the right, and what a clown he is for doing this. so i think it's worth asking what his goal is.

i was in an accident back in march under similar circumstances. two cars ahead of me, some doosh tried to pass to the left only to discover there was no lane to drive in. he yanks it back into the fast lane and forces the car that is already there to swerve into my lane. colliding with him was unavoidable. insurance took care of my car and i wasn't at fault. i suspect something similar here with trout, especially since there was an accident ahead of them. if the car with the lady had nowhere to go, then the collision may have been unavoidable. of course, if trout were tailgating or speeding, then this story may have a different ending legally, but there hasn't been any mention of that yet.

so in reality, he's just a self-serving whiner who prefers to just complain and stir the pot as opposed to doing anything meaningful and positive.
