    my best friend graduated from college with a two-year IT degree, but once he got home he enrolled in ITT for some reason. ended up getting a job at long beach memorial hospital in their tech dept. i always wondered why his college degree wasn't enough to get a job, but whatever.

    i have a kid named aaron this year, and there are times i call his name and smile. if i get another kid named blake, i'm gonna lose it.

    my mom was an ER nurse and treated him one night at the hospital. had to collect a urine sample from him. no further details available or desired.

    every time i see a picture of gehrig, i'm always impressed with how muscular his forearms were. same with foxx.

    no argument from me on the expense. more like seeing talent potential not being fulfilled, like turning on the history channel and seeing a show about people who live in a swamp and hunt gators once in a while.

    watching the history channel today is as disappointing as watching your son choosing to play broom ball instead of ice hockey.

    don't know how i missed it originally, but i try to watch Key & Peele when it's on. they do some really funny stuff. my favorite is the substitute teacher from the inner city. both K & P are extremely talented and fun to watch.

    i love my job. i get to work with fun kids most of the time, we talk about interesting things, and we generally have a lot of fun. the toughest part of my job is kids that aren't interested, kids that are uncooperative, and parents who interfere. fortunately, we usually have way more of the former and not too many of the latter.
