Agreed. I was raised by one parent and worked all through high school and college, including my summers. Nothing was handed to me, and I had to work for what I wanted. I have a hard time understanding why others don't or won't do the same.

Slept on one of those memory foam mattresses in a nice hotel in Lexington, KY once and enjoyed it. Because of my weight and some back issues, I've slept in a reclining chair for many years. If my weight loss gets me to the point where I can comfortably sleep in a bed again, I'll look into one of those memory foam mattresses that can be raised to different angles.

This will end up in the SCOTUS as a case challenging whether state laws can override federal laws. And it'll probably lose.

Last time I went shopping on Black Friday was around 1987. cant think of anything I need badly enough that I'd go out into that rotten mass of humanity that has already forgotten what they celebrated 24 hours earlier. Besides, it's a whole lot easier to do it online.

We had a sleep number bed. Big waste of money as we never really slept well on it plus it didn't handle moving very well. If anyone is considering buying one, please reconsider.

The papers face the camera and, according to a report from The Topeka Capital-Journal, reveal plans to question "high-risk" immigrants over support for Sharia law and the U.S. Constitution. A bullet point says "Bar the Entry of Potential Terrorists." The Topeka-Journal also noted that the document calls for an update and reintroduction of the National Security Entry-Exit Registration system, originally implemented after 9/11. It mentioned "extreme vetting questions" for "high-risk aliens" as well. Kobach's papers also suggest eliminating Syrian refugee intake. Kobach's positions line up with what he and Trump have previously suggested on the campaign trail. ----------------------- if it was already said on the campaign trail, then this isn't really much of a 'reveal.' i think it'd be more of an issue about how they're handling private papers in public, or at least where cameras can see them.

Saw Inferno yesterday, which is the ne t movie in The Da Vinci Code series with Tom Hanks. It was just about what I expected and I'd give it a B-.

it was a good four days for the kings. they looked solid against edmonton and very good against the ducks (i missed the new jersey game). they've picked up 6 points in four days and are now tied for first in the pacific with anaheim and edmonton. had no reason to expect this with kopitar, gaborik and quick out, but carter has been spectacular lately (and congrats to carter for scoring career point #600 tonight). i've really liked budaj, and he's done a terrific job.
