  2. What a great story! And an equally great way to honor Killebrew.
  3. My wife saw and said they look like hi-lighters.
  4. Saw Inferno, and it was about what I expected. There werent really any surprises in it, but it wasn't awful.
  5. By all accounts he was one of the really good guys. Loved his sports coats. thanks, Craig.
  6. There's a place called Super Dawg that's pretty touristy but they have good Chicago hot dogs.
  7. No. they went after him because he lied under oath, which seems to covered under the "crimes and misdemeanors" part of the reasons for impeachment. You didn't know this?
  8. haven't ever played the ProV1 but would like to. of all the balls out there, my go to was the Pinnacle Gold. it always fit my game perfectly.
  9. 8/10 - 80%, which is a B-. Sure you want to stick with that rating after such a positive review?
  10. i was hoping this might be one of those crazy golf balls that is out of balance and doesn't roll straight. i was going to let adam use it to putt the next time we play.

  13. iphone 6. tends to run down pretty quickly. have never put a time on it, though. seems like i can't get more than 2-3 hours of heavy use, and that's after turning off lots of battery-sucking services.
  14. i'm banning you for one week for putting this image into our thoughts.
  15. The Kings held a retirement dinner for Marcel Dionne on the ice at the Great Western Forum in 1990, and season ticket holders could buy tickets to attend, so my brother and I ponied up. There were some speakers during the dinner, and Alan Thicke was one of them. He was hilarious. Got to meet him afterwards and shake his hand, and it was a nice moment. He played his role as a tv dad very well. Man, this is very sad news.
  16. surprised they gave so quickly on bandy, who seems to have a better career ahead of him than maldonado. i think eppler is trying to bring in a roster completely full of guys i've never heard of, just to spite me.
  17. my concern is when he leaves, which seems to happen after only a short period of time. he wins, yes, but he also doesn't leave his teams in very good shape once he bails.
  18. i wouldn't mind having carroll here at all. jim harbuagh is a giant douche. no thanks.
  19. okay, can one of the mods help with the formatting of my reply? i tried to fix it but can't get it any better than how it looks now.
  20. the best part of this article was the description below it: Tim Conway, Jr. was born and raised in Los Angeles...and survived 10 years in a youth detention center called the Los Angeles Unified School District. He spent his childhood around Santa Anita, Hollywood Park and Del Mar Racetracks with his father, four younger brothers and older sister. His father is yes, the real Tim Conway from the real Carol Burnett Show. Dad guests regularly on the younger Conway's radio program and recently told his son, "Comedy is in your blood...too bad it's not on your show." Conway survived 12 years at 97.1 FM Talk in Los Angeles until it switched to an all-music format. The show was famous for providing Southern California with a wide variety of entertaining topics including live police Chases, Hollywood craziness and current events with a twist of humor. "What The Hell Did Jesse Jackson Say?" was a favorite segment and maintains a substantial cult following to this day (it's the stuff radio legends are made of). He now hosts a nightly show on the No. 1 news/talk radio station in the country, KFI AM 640, More Stimulating Talk Radio. You can catch the show Monday-Friday from 6-10pm. Conway's down-to-earth take on life brings a sense of refreshing levity to those surrounded by lunatics in SoCal. Today, the Conway tradition continues. When he's not on the air, you can find him at the racetrack with his four-year-old daughter. "I got a tear in my eye the first time my daughter was photo'd out of a win." Tim also turned his wife onto horse racing. She's currently banned from two local tracks for verbal attacks on jockeys.
  21. "What are 'things that happened to every male who ever lived during high school and college.' "
  22. so needless. so many rulers see leadership as a chance to better themselves instead of their people/country, and millions upon millions have died as a result. hard to understand.
