    saturday night tv was pretty good stuff back then. MTM Show, All in the Family, and the Bob Newhart Show, plus a show with Herschel Bernardi made for an entertaining evening.

    we just had a national election between hillary and the donald. how much less appealing can we be?

    his EOs aren't really changing any laws at this point, correct? he's not creating new legislation and is making good on some of his campaign promises. once congress is done with the confirmation hearings, we'll see how well he works with them. all of this stuff so far strikes me as pretty par for the course of new presidents coming into office.
