yeah, it's the devil you know kind of a thing.

several years ago we took my dad to the reagan library. they had a display of gifts he'd received from foreign heads of state, guests, and so on. some really impressive things (plus a few 4th grade caliber projects as well). my dad looked around and somewhat under his breath said "i wonder what they'll do for me." as if opening a presidential library for someone who's never been a president or anywhere near as successful is a viable option. but narcissism doesn't usually see minor details like that. i imagine trump has had plans for a presidential library for the last 20+ years, and that it'll look more like a casino/taj mahal than what we're accustomed to seeing.

it's symbolic of how congress treats the rest of us.
