    buddy, i'm leaving the sticks at home, but i'll still be in the water a-plenty. may make a trip out to kapalua just to see it in person and buy some useless crap from the pro shop. otherwise, there will be a lot of time swimming and doing chucka-chucka.

    you must be new here. this is what the main board is frequently like. fans have no patience with certain players and want to pull the plug on them far too easily. calhoun will be fine. down years happen.

    agree with vegas. not a fan of the red on red on the caps or the jerseys. i'd like to see the dark blue hat or change the color of the A to the blue. as for the jerseys, bring back the vest! that's been my favorite, hands down. aside from that, i really like the jerseys from the early 90s, before they switched to that stupid winged A. i also want the silver halo back on the hats and batting helmets. that was just unique beyond words.

    yeah, there's been a lot of good promotion of him on twitter by the rams. i'm hopeful he can deliver quality minutes played for this team. goodness knows there's a great need for a quality receiver for this group.

    My former pastor used to drive from LA to Oakland to see his team. A bunch of oaklanders used to travel to LA to see them play at the coliseum, and vice versa. Steel yourself for the invasion, buddy.

    i think it's likely to be an opinion held mostly by those who were alive at the time. The country was consumed with his death and wanted answers on who and why. Once ruby killed oswald, the whole story became nothing but a series of questions of why.

    when i was a kid, we never heard anything about retired football players have health issues (beyond having bad knees/legs and a resulting difficult time walking, but that was it). certainly the athletes are bigger, faster, and stronger, but i'm not sure how the league could/should address that issue. i'm not sure football will diminish in popularity any time soon, either. it's the modern day version of gladiator contests.

    peach pie is good if there's enough sugar, otherwise it's too tart. but that's no longer an issue for my pallet . . . on a similar note, the white peaches have been phenomenal this summer, and the season seems to have lasted longer than usual. i have one left in the fridge for tomorrow, and i can hardly wait to get to it. so dang sweet and juicy and huge.

    lost my interest in 'my pillow' when i saw that you can throw it in the laundry and it's supposed to come out good as new.
