i googled "what has happened because nfl players are protesting" and got nothing other than an explanation of why they're taking a knee. if you have information other than that, please share. google didn't seem to have anything.

i haven't heard any from them outside of raising awareness. not sure what that means.

i have no idea. is there any statistical info to show that shootings have decreased because of the kneeling NFL players? if so, i hope someone will share it.

no idea, but i'd sure like to see something somewhere from someone that says what these protests are accomplishing. all i see right now are many people upset about the perceived disrespect towards the flag and veterans, and many people who support the idea of protesting to raise awareness of mistreatment towards african-americans in our society. okay, awareness has certainly been raised, but what is it accomplishing? is racism, whether personal or institutional, being affected anywhere by all of this?

have seen anti-gun people on facebook talking about joining the nra in huge numbers and voting to change their direction. that'd be kind of fun to watch.

watching that fire last night, all i could think of was "well, my gas expenses are about to go up . . . again."

holy crap! the shooters entire approach was to spray the crowd, not pick off certain individuals one at a time, which is exactly what he was able to accomplish with the bump stock!! this politician may have actually lowered the bar on stupidity with his comments.

we have vegetarian lunch meat available, but we don't really have a good answer for this. it looks good, and i feel like i'm missing out.
