    Otoh, our school had some kind of Dodger pride day today, allowing kids to wear jeans and Dodger shirts and hats. I joined in the fun, but I wore an angels '02 championship tshirt under my dodger one. Showed it to as many people as possible.

    Looking pretty good against the Leafs tonight. Matthews ended the shutout on a questionably called penalty shot. Lots of guys getting into the scoring tonight.

    as this thread title suggests, we still have thoughts and prayers.

    i think we'll start to see more car baricades showing up in places with heavy pedestrian traffic to prevent/reduce car and truck attacks like this and what we've seen in europe. i think someone posted that they're looking to start doing this in las vegas asap. it makes a lot of sense.

    these potatoes have had a serious amount of attention on facebook in the last six months. they look pretty good, but alas, it's too much starch for me. however, i may be able to do something like this with a sweet potato.

    Always love having a game 7. Oddly enough, this will be the first time Dodger Stadium has ever hosted one. roberts bailed out tonight. Wouldn't tempt the fates the same way tomorrow night, however.
